Thames Valley Police officers and staff in the Berkshire West Local Command Unit made multiple arrests of offenders wanted in connection with domestic abuse incidents last week.
The operation took place on Friday, September 26 and saw detective and uniformed officers arrest 10 people who were then booked into police custody at Loddon Valley police station for questioning.
Thames Valley Police said: “The operation was delivered to enhance our work that goes on every day to tackle domestic abuse across the Thames Valley, recognising we see a rise in demand during summer months.
“Three digital devices were seized, which were downloaded by specially trained officers.”
One suspect has been charged and remanded and officers also issued three others with conditional cautions.
Three suspects were released on police bail and one was voluntarily interviewed.
Two fail to appear warrants were also issued to people that were arrested as part of the operation.
Superintendent Colin Hudson, of Berkshire West LCU, said: “The force has and always will take domestic abuse, in all its forms, extremely seriously and we do everything in our power to target it in our communities.
“We understand that it has an adverse impact on victims, their families and their loved ones supporting victims of domestic abuse, the majority of whom are women, is a top priority for us.
“I am extremely proud of our teams in Berkshire West who worked tirelessly all day on Friday to target and arrest offenders.
“I would encourage anyone who is a victim of domestic abuse to please report it to police. If you are worried about someone else who you think is being abused, please, please report it.
“Abuse often continues behind closed doors for years, and we need to take every opportunity to break the cycle.”
