THAMES Valley Police have ended their appeal for help locating a man reported missing from Reading after the discovery of a body.
Officers conducted a search along the River Thames in Tilehurst where they discovered the body of a man.
While the body has not yet been formally identified, the next of kin of the missing person have been informed as part of police inquiries.
The man’s death is currently being treated as unexplained, however police do not believe the circumstances to have been suspicious.
A file is set to be prepared for His Majesty’s Coroner.
