After initial training on Incident & Crime Response (ICR), a number of specialisms are available, from detective roles such as CID, domestic abuse, major crime, as well as firearms, dog handling, mounted section, counter terrorism, surveillance, drone operations, roads policing, public order, intelligence, and more.
Starting salary is £32,970 (including the South-East allowance), with potential earnings exceeding £50,000 by year seven.
