THAMES Valley Police has begun its summer recruitment drive for this year.

The force is reaching out to those who are considering a career in the police and holding a number of recruitment events.

TVP is seeking those who want to serve their communities and help others, with a belief in doing the right thing and justice.

Whether applicants have a degree or not, Thames Valley Police offers entry routes tailored to their background.

TVP also explains that policing isn’t for everyone–it demands resilience, integrity, and a commitment to public service.

After initial training on Incident & Crime Response (ICR), a number of specialisms are available, from detective roles such as CID, domestic abuse, major crime, as well as firearms, dog handling, mounted section, counter terrorism, surveillance, drone operations, roads policing, public order, intelligence, and more.
