THAMES Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision in Reading.
It follows an incident which took place between 9.30pm and 10pm on Saturday, March 23, when a teenager was involved in a collision with a car.
The boy was cycling along Oxford Road, between the junctions of Valentia Road and Beresford Road, when he was involved in the collision with a vehicle, which did not stop at the scene.
He sustained serious injuries to his face and remains at Royal Berkshire Hospital undergoing treatment.
Now police are appealing for help from the public and are seeking information from anyone who may be able to help the investigation.
Investigating officer PC Martin Danks, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to this collision to please come forward.
“Also, if you were driving in the area around the time of the collision and have a dash-cam, or if you live nearby and have a CCTV camera or a video doorbell, I’d also ask that you check any recordings in case it has captured something that could assist us and get in touch if you have.
