POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a robbery at knife-point in Reading.
It follows an incident on Thursday, February 8, when, at around 8.55am, a man in his thirties was approached by two men while walking through the alleyway connecting Church Street and St Giles Close.
The men shouted at the victim, pointed a Stanley knife at him, and demanded that he drop the bag he was carrying.
He dropped his bag and wallet and was pushed to the floor, though he was not injured.
The men stole a Doc Martens branded laptop bag containing a silver HP laptop and a brown wallet, then fled down Church Street towards the church.
The offenders are described as two black men, around 6ft tall with skinny faces.
The man with the knife had short, dark hair, a short beard, and a deep voice.
He was wearing a khaki green parka coat that looked “old and grubby.”
The man who pushed the victim to the floor was wearing a dark navy tracksuit with black trainers.
