THAMES Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision that left a nine-year-old girl with a broken leg in Reading.

At around 3.15pm on Thursday, September 28, a silver Skoda Octavia was involved in a collision with the girl on Rushey Way, Lower Earley, leaving her with a broken leg.

She was taken to hospital to undergo treatment, where she remains.

No arrests have been made in relation to the incident.

Investigating officer, PC Matt Bowden, said: “I’d like to appeal to anyone who saw this incident, particularly if you have dash-cam footage, to come forward if you haven’t done so already.

“At the time of the incident, there were lots of parents picking their children up from school so it’s important that we hear from as many people as possible.
