POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a serious road traffic collision left a man with serious injuries in Reading last week.
At around 8.25pm on Friday, July 28, a black Audi A3 and a Yamaha YBR 125 moped were involved in a collision at the traffic lights on the A4 Bath Road at the junction with Burghfield Road.
The man on the moped, a man in his twenties, sustained injuries to his ankle and foot, and is currently in hospital receiving treatment.
A 32-year-old man from Reading was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and has since been released under investigation.
Investigating officer, PC Jamie Payne, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who has information about what happened to please come forward.
“From our initial enquiries, we believe there may have been a white Tesla Model 3 at the scene and we would appeal to the driver to get in touch.
“Further, if any motorists were in the area around the time of the collision, please check any dash-cam footage in case it may have captured something that could assist our investigation.
