THAMES Valley Police and British Transport Police are attending an incident in central Reading today, (Monday) April 22.
At least two ambulances and two police vehicles were seen parked outside Reading Train Station as emergency services responded at around 2.15pm.
Screens were also erected at the top of the stairs in the station while emergency services and medical staff attend the incident.
British Transport Police confirmed that they were called to a medical incident and that a person has been taken to hospital for treatment.
“Officers were called to Reading railway station at around 2.51pm today, April 22, following reports of medical emergency.
“Paramedics also attended and a person has been taken to hospital.”
Thames Valley Police have been contacted for comment.
