OFFICE space close to Reading town centre could be converted into a two-bed flat if the council approves an application.

The second floor of the building on Southampton Street is in the frame for the conversion. One of the two beds would have ensuite shower facilities.

The owner won approval to build an extension to the building (reference 220204) to create an additional two-bedroom flat in April 2022.

The application can be seen by logging on to Reading Borough Council’s planning website, searching for reference 240351.
