READING FC made it back-to-back wins in League One with a comfortable 2-0 win over 10-men Stevenage.

The Royals took advantage after Boro went down to 10 early on and went ahead through Kelvin Ehibhatiomhan late in the first-half.

Ehibhatiomhan then scored his second goal of the day when he was perfectly placed to tap in on the rebound from Amadou Mbengue’s saved shot to put Reading in control.

Despite being dealt a one point deduction by the EFL for the third consecutive season, Reading now move up to 13th in the table on five points after they ended Stevenage’s winning run.

Reading now prepare to face Exeter City away from home next Saturday who have won two, drawn one and lost in their opening four games of the season.
