Southern Region Women’s Premier Division – Arbour Park
Reading FC Women produced a polished and confident performance to secure a convincing 4–1 victory over Beaconsfield Town Women in the Southern Region Women’s Premier Division on Sunday afternoon.

The Royals started brightly and took the lead shortly before half-time, with captain Mia Parker driving home to put the hosts ahead.. That goal gave Reading a crucial psychological edge heading into the break.

After the interval, Reading stepped up their intensity. Bethan Poole doubled the advantage with a well-timed header from a set-piece, and substitute Nat Cowell — Reading’s leading marksman — made it three, expertly finishing a swift attacking move.

Beaconsfield mounted a brief response late on, capitalising on a lapse to pull one back. However, Reading ensured there would be no comeback when Tia

Johnson struck deep in stoppage time, calmly slotting home to restore their three-goal cushion.
The result extends Reading’s strong form in the league, keeping them firmly in the mix as the season reaches its halfway point. The win also marked Reading’s

second successive league triumph, showcasing a blend of attacking quality and tactical discipline under manager Ed Jackson-Norris.
