PARENTS And Children Together (PACT), has announced the return of Reading’s Big Quiz, following the success of its debut event in October last year.

The second edition of the fast-paced fundraiser will take place next month at Playlist Live, in Friar Street.

Reading’s Big Quiz is the ultimate test of knowledge about the town’s rich history, culture and iconic landmarks.

Participants can see fresh rounds and new challenges–all set to a curated soundtrack of music from legendary Reading Festival performers across the decades.

The quiz will once again be hosted by local historian and tour guide Terry Dixon of Terry’s Reading Walkabouts, who will bring his signature energy, humour and deep knowledge of the town’s heritage. Teams will battle it out across a range of fun and thought-provoking rounds. There will also be a raffle full of fantastic prizes!

“We’re delighted to be bringing Reading’s Big Quiz back for a second year,” said Julie MacLean, PACT’s Events and Supporter Engagement Assistant. “The feedback from our first quiz was fantastic, and we’re excited to welcome even more teams for another night of friendly competition and community spirit!”

Last year’s inaugural event raised over £1,100 in vital funds to support PACT’s work with adoptive families, women with complex needs and children affected by trauma.

All proceeds from this edition will once again go directly to help fund PACT’s life-changing services.

Doors will open from 6.30pm, with the quiz running from 7pm to 9.30pm on Wednesday, March 25.

Tickets are £10 per adult or £40 for a team of four.

Advance booking is essential and tickets are available via the PACT website:
