A CINEMA is to screen a special blockbuster, but it’s not a movie – it’s a concert.

The Showcase Cinema in Winnersh is to celebrate the career of country musician Willie Nelson with its showing of Long Story Short.

The star – known as Box Car Willie – is celebrating his 90th birthday this year, and the recording of a concert at the Hollywood Bowl in California sees him perform with other musical legends including Keith Richards, Tom Jones, Neil Young, Ziggy Marley, Norah Jones and Sheryl Crow.

Also appearing in the movie is Dame Helen Mirren, Woody Harrelson, Owen Wilson and Ethan Hawke.

Organisers say this is a unique cinema experience with something for every generation.

It will be screened at 4.35pm on Sunday, June 25.
