Following an ongoing investigation by Thames Valley Police, a man has been charged in connection with a robbery in Woodley.
Shaun Atkins, aged 40, of no fixed abode, was charged with one count of robbery on the morning of Thursday, January 19.
The charge relates to a robbery that took place at Lloyds Bank in Crockhamwell Road shortly after 8.30am on Wednesday, January 18.
Atkins was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court this morning.
A 30-year-old woman from Woodley was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery yesterday, though she has been released under investigation.
