A READING man has been arrested following a Thames Valley Police investigation into a rape last week.
A 23-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday, November 29, on suspicion of rape as well as theft and possession of a Class B controlled drug, namely cannabis.
It followed an incident that took place in an alleyway between Crown Street and St Giles Close, Reading, between 11pm and 11.25pm on Wednesday, November 22.
The man has been released on police bail until February 26 next year, and the investigation into the incident continues.
