HEADING to The Face Bar next month is the streetpunk sounds from Los Fastidios.
The group mix classical 80s Punk-OI! with a lot of skanking moments. Chuck in some rock’n’roll and hardcore rhythms, sing in Italian and add in some touches of English, French, Spanish and German and you’ve got a band you won’t forget in a hurry.
The lyrics come from the most cheerful street situations to more serious and involved matters which deal with social problems, such as battles against racism-fascism and any form of discrimination, for the animal rights, for freedom and against the capitalistic system.
Their support will be Launch Control, promising roaring pop punk for the masses, and, making their Reading debut, Filhos de Inacio, who promise roaring hardcore from Brazil.
The gig takes place on Tuesday, August 8, from 8pm, and the event is organised by Club Velocity and New Mind Promotions.
