TENS of thousands of visitors will visit Reading for the town’s upcoming music festival, but a community group will offer its services to ensure its streets remain tidy.
Caversham GLOBE (Go Local for a Better Environment) will conduct daily cleanups around central Caversham from Thursday, August 24 to Sunday, August 28, with Reading Festival running between Friday and Sunday.
Volunteers’ litter picks will take place in the late afternoon, with more details to be announced in due course.
