THERE IS more to Reading Festival than just music: organisers have unveiled some of the comedians who will appear on the Alternative Stage.

The Masked Singer UK host Joel Dommett and writer, presenter and comedian Russell are many among those performing.

The stage is being curated by The Comedy Store, and bringing a line-up that includes Chris Washington, Dalisa Chaponda, Fern Brady, Laura Lexx, Mark Olver, Jack Skipper, Sara Schaefer and Thanyia Moore.

A late-night takeover has been announced by record label Transgressive. It will present an exclusive lineup to continue the entertainment after the headliners finish.

London-based DJ and presenter Taylah Elaine will perform an eclectic set ranging from R&B to rap, house to dancehall and everything in-between. Joining her is Zoe London, the rock and EDM crossover DJ that has wowed festival crowds with her energy-packed sets.

Friday at Reading will see DJ-battle style sets from bands such as Yard Act, Transgressive Soundsystem DJs, among others.
