THERE IS a new look to Caversham’s buses as new vehicles with a stronger colour scheme have been launched.
The 22 to Caversham Heights and the 25 to Peppard Common have a hot pink colouring, as part of Reading Buses’ ongoing improvements.
The company’s CEO, Robert Williams, said he was regularly told by customers that the routes are important, and the makeover was a bid to give them a stronger identity.
“The new look forms part of our ongoing programme to constantly refresh our services, helping to raise awareness of each route and attract more customers,” he said.
“This is especially important following the pandemic, as work and travel patterns have changed dramatically.
“The buses themselves run on sustainably sourced bio-methane, emitting fewer particulates than a diesel engine, let alone the multiple private cars the bus can replace.”
