A READING singer/songwriter is set to join the bill at a Club velocity event next month.

Emerging performer Grace Pounds is taking to the stage alongside Funke and the Two Tone Baby the latest in a series of regular gigs at Face Bar.

This month’s event will see Pounds opening the show at Club Velocity hot on the heels of her debut single, Notice, last month.

It also follows the announcement that she will be appearing at this year’s Readipop Festival in July.

Funke and the Two Tone Baby will headline the show, mixing folk, blues, and electronic influences for an eclectic and organic sound.

He has performed at festivals such as Glastonbury, Sziget, WOMAD, and Boomtown, and toured with Skinny Lister, Dutty Moonshine Big Band, Beans on Toast, and Mark Chadwick.
