A FORMER bookies could be extended to create six new residential units.
Applicant Reading Foods Ltd has applied to Reading Borough Council to convery 233 London Road, which used to house a branch of Coral.
It currently has three bedrooms, a living room and a kitchen on the first floor.
Under the plan, a floor would be added to the existing building and a two-and-a-half storey house to the rear.
Retail space on the ground floor would be retained and a total of three one-bedroom homes provided in the rest of the house, with three bedrooms also being provided in the new build.
