Combined Counties Premier North

ASCOT UNITED made it a weekend to remember as they stretched their lead at the top of the table to put them on the brink of being crowned as champions.

The Yellas put three past Harefield United without reply on Saturday with strikes from Louis Bouwers, Brendan Matthew and Kai Walters.

Ascot then built on that display by smacking five past Wallingford & Crowmarsh in a clinical first-half.

Goals from Marcus Mealing, Harry Laflin, Alfie Grant, Marcus Mealing and Sean McCormack saw them cruise to a 5-0 scoreline.

Ascot are now 17 points in front at the top with five games to go.
