A GROUP of keen history seekers will gather in Reading to hear about three little properties with big stories to tell.
Katie Amos will tell The History of Reading Society about Dellwood, The Laurels, and Kentwood House, in her talk: Big Little Houses.
Katie Amos is the local studies lead for Reading Library.
A keen family and local historia based in Tilehurst, she says she thoroughly enjoyed researching the properties and discovering more about the owners and occupiers, including one or two scandals.
Her talk will take place after the society’s brief AGM.
The event will take place at the Abbey Baptist Church, Reading, on Wednesday, March 19 at 7.30pm.
All are welcome, with visitors asked to pay £2.
Annual membership is just £9.
