THE PANGBOURNE Jazz Club will be back in action again on Sunday, September 3, this time welcoming saxophonist Alan Barnes as their guest artist.
Taking place in Rosewood Hall, off Whitchurch Road, the evening will see the musician team up with the Terry Hutchins Quartet.
Organisers say he is a much-loved regular guest in Pangbourne, and has more than 30 albums to his name. He has also performed with artists such as Bjork, Bryan Ferry, Michel LeGrande, Clare Teale, Westlife, Jools Holland and Jamie Cullum.
He has received more than 25 British Jazz Awards and twice been BBC Jazz Musician of the Year.
Tickets can be bought in advance by searching for Pangbourne Jazz Club on Skiddle, or on the door for £12.50. Entry is from 6.45pm, with the first set from 7.30pm. The night ends at 10pm.
