Jokes, rants, politics, play and the occasional sing-song is promised by South Street regular Mark Thomas.
The comic, who loves performing at the venue, is returning to Reading this October, with an all-new show, Gaffa Tapes.
It will be premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this summer, after some warm-up gigs around the country. Details of the show are scant.
Mr Thomas has won a host of awards, forced a politician to resign, changed laws on tax and protest, become a Guinness Book of Records world record holder for number of protests heldin 24 hours, taken the police to court three times and won, walked the length of the Israeli Wall in the West Bank and generally mucked about trying to have fun and annoy “the right people”. He also uses sterner language than that.
He says Gaffa Tapes will be more of the above.
The show is suitable for ages 16 upwards, and will be performed on Wednesday, October 30, from 8pm.
Tickets cost £21, or £14.50 for unwaged.
