A COMPANY that runs ballroom dancing sessions is applying for permission to covert a Katesgrove storage and distribution unit into a dance studio.
A storage space in the Britten Roda venue would be converted into a dancefloor, and existing staff facilities would be retained.
One of the business’ owners said: “Our plan is to open a modern ballroom dance studio which provides a full range of services.
“There will be competitive and social group classes and private lessons.
“At the core of our business will be a high level of teaching expertise, variety of different classes for all ages and levels and a great team spirit.”
