BCMB Championship

SHINFIELD were defeated on their away trip to Chalfont St Giles.

After Chalfont were all out on 191, Shinfield fell just 16 runs short.

CROWTHORNE & CROWN WOOD tied with Mortimer West End as both teams scored 120.

BRACKNELL UNITED lost out by 130 runs away to Penn & Tylers Green.

WEST READING earned an impressive away win against Great Kingshill as they beat them by 156 runs, which included a score of 108 from Haaris Mushtaq.

Home Counties Division 1

WARGRAVE were on the wrong end of a four wicket defeat in their opening match of the campaign.

Wargrave totalled 150 before being bowled out, while High Wycombe surpassed that with four wickets to spare.

Chilterns Division 1

EMMBROOK AND BEARWOOD started their season with a loss as they were beaten by seven wickets against Winchmore.

The Bears were skittled all out for 94 before Winchmore sealed their success with seven wickets in reserve.

BCL Premier Division

CROWTHORNE & CROWN WOOD 2s picked up 37 points as they got the better of Goring on Thames by four wickets.

FARLEY HILL lost by five wickets in their clash with Peppard Stoke Row.

SHINFIELD 2s added 35 points to their total with a 26-run success over Silchester.

SANDHURST won by seven wickets on the road against Woodcote.

Thames Valley Division 1

READING opened their account with a 78-run triumph away to EVERSLEY.

Reading batted first and racked up 218 runs from 50 overs as Praful Waghela scored 83 runs.

Eversley only managed 140 before Reading had them all out after 39.2 overs.

Thames Valley Division 2B

SONNING opened their season with a 94-run success over Cove.

There were half centuries each from Mannu Rawat and William Hibberdine on their way to winning the match.

BINFIELD’s opening batsman Grant Celliers lasted the entire innings and scored 77 runs to help his side to a six wicket win against Harpsden.

Celliers built a strong partnership with Chris Morgan (52 not out) which ensured an opening day win for Binfield.
