Thames Valley Division 5B

EVERSLEY 2s secured their place at the top of the table with an eight wicket success over WARGRAVE 3s.

Wargrave batted in the first innings and opening batsman Luke Taylor top scored with a superb score of 78.

Navaid Ahktar was in fine form with the ball for Eversley which saw him collect five wickets for a return of 30 runs.

With a score of 188 to catch to take victory, Eversley batted with composure and confidence.

Ben Martin tallied 59 before Pete de Lange (57*) and Matthew Martin (42*) guided the Boars over the line after 25.3 overs with eight wickets to spare.

BINFIELD 2s remain in third position after they got the better of SONNING 2s.

Binfield batted first and racked up 271 runs, including a score of 75 from Mikey Allan-Canty before they declared after 47 overs.

Vankatram Choodamani then took four wickets as Binfield took the win by 35 runs.

BRACKNELL moved up to sixth after they earned a narrow win over Thatcham Town 2s.

Bracknell successfully chased down 232 to take success and sealed the game with just one wicket in reserve.

Thames Valley Division One

EVERSLEY stay at the summit after they won away at Uxbridge in a closely fought contest.

Exceptional bowling displays from both Benjamin Salter (5-26) and Noah Vojinov (4-45) ensured that Eversley had Uxbridge all out on 123, just two runs off the visitors’ first innings total.

WOKINGHAM 2s dropped to the bottom of the standings after they lost to Stoke Green.

The Oaks put 216 on the board before Stoke Green surpassed their total with six wickets left.

Thames Valley Division 2B

READING surrendered their spot at the top after they were beaten by Sulhamstead & Ufton.

Reading had Sulhamstead all out on 120, but were then bowled all out for 93.

BINFIELD climbed up to third position with a four wicket triumph over FINCHAMPSTEAD 2s.

Four wickets each from Akash Arnold and Theo Penn contributed to bowl Finch all out for 136.

Arnold then knocked 76 runs not out to ensure Binfield picked up the win by four wickets.

SONNING picked up an impressive 133-run win against Harpsden to move into seventh.

Sonning put 221 on the scoreboard before five wicket from Dion Jeffries and four from Sayid Mohammed had Haprsden all out for 88.

Home Counties Division One

FINCHAMPSTEAD and WOKINGHAM shared the points as the teams couldn’t be separated in their match.

Wokingham were first into bat as Imran Malik top scored with 86 which saw the Oaks finish on 298 from 62 overs before they declared with two wickets left.

Finch attempted to chase that down and 46 runs each from Stuart Parsons and Oliver Thilo, both not out, put them onto 218-7 from 58 overs which meant the game was drawn.

Finch picked up 14 points, while Wokingham took home 13.

WARGRAVE added 25 points on the road in their success at Henley.

Wargrave batted superbly to get past the Henley’s score of 192 with 82 runs from Dan Lincoln to win the match with six wickets left.

BCM Championship

EMMBROOK AND BEARWOOD are just one point off the top after their success against Ley Hill.

The Bears skittled Ley Hill all out on 99 thanks to a productive performance in the field.

Emmbrook then navigated their way to the win in comfortable fashion.

It took them just 10 overs to get over the line without dropping a wicket in the process which saw Matt Loxton (51*) and Sean Woodward (48*) form the winning partnership.

CROWTHORNE & CROWN WOOD were beaten on the road at Braywood.

The Crows tallied 186 al out before the hosts secured the win with three wickets left.

SHINFIELD put 38 points on the board with a 43-run win at Great Kingshill.

Shinfield scored 262 in the first innings before the hosts ended on 219 to give the away team the points

WEST READING are in fifth after their 52-run triumph against Ballinger Waggoners.

Haaris Mushqaq scored 60 to see West Reading on 145 before four wickets from Usamah Mahmood helped to bowl their opponents all out for 93.

BCL Premier Division

CROWTHORNE & CROWN WOOD 2s lead the way in the table after their 79-run success against Stratfield Turgis.

The Crows totalled 229 with 73 from Nicholas Outram and 51 from Ant Avrili.

Crows then bowled Stratfield all out for 150.

READING UNITED earned a comprehensive victory over WEST READING 2s.

Six wickets from Suman Ganguly skittled West Reading all out for 74 before United surpassed the score with nine wickets in reserve.

FARLEY HILL put 40 points on their tally as they thrashed SHINFIELD 2s by nine wickets.

Five wickets from Pavan Kumar helped to bowl Shinfield all out for 62 before Farley got to 64 with nine wickets left.

SANDHURST lost on their away trip to Woodcote by four wickets.
