Cricket, cuisines and conversations to be at the centre of Community United’s upcoming fun day

CRICKETERS from around Berkshire are gearing up for a community fun day on Sunday, September 17.

Falkland Cricket Club, Newbury, will play host to eight teams who will do battle with bat and ball for an event which will have something for all the family to get involved with.

A variety of food, drink, games and activities stalls will be available to enjoy on the day, representing a wide range of ethnicities, genders and ages.

Community United, Newbury Racecourse, Berkshire Cricket Foundation and Berkshire Cricket Officials Association are among the sponsors putting on the event.

The event starts at 9am.
