Broad Street Mall is set to raise the spirits this spooky season as Broad Street Beats returns with a Halloween twist on Saturday, 18th October – promising a fang-tastic day of live music, family fun, and community celebration.

In partnership with The Rhoom Studios, this FREE event will run from 11am to 3pm, filling the mall with thrilling tunes and ghoulish delights. Families, music lovers, and Halloween fans of all ages are invited to join the fun!

Taking centre stage will be a line-up of sensational local talent, curated to lift your spirits and get everyone moving. With live performances, hands-on activities, and plenty of tricks and treats, this special edition of Broad Street Beats is set to be a scream!

Highlights on the day will include:

  • Live music performances from incredible local artists – guaranteed to bring the energy and keep the vibes high all afternoon.
  • A FREE Halloween tote bag decorating workshop with Jelly – perfect for little monsters preparing for trick-or-treating.
  • FREE face painting – a professional artist will be offering Halloween-themed designs throughout the day.
  • A Halloween costume competition – amazing prizes will on offer for the most boo-tiful and frightfully fabulous costumes.
  • An appearance from Topsy – Broad Street Mall’s beloved mascot will be back handing out FREE sweets and showing off his monster moves.
  • A Spooktacular Kids Disco – mini witches and wizards can dance it out to Halloween hits alongside Topsy.
  • FREE muffin samples from Muffin Break and tasty treats from Subway – no tricks, just delicious bites throughout the day,

The event will also welcome The Jessica Project and Project Salama, two incredible organisations raising awareness and offering support to survivors of abuse and violence. Visitors can explore their empowering merchandise and learn more about the vital services they provide.

Broad Street Mall is also proud to continue supporting the Every Little Thing Festival, created by Sinead Gibson in memory of her daughter Diva. The festival focuses on mental health awareness and suicide prevention – and Sinead will be joining the event to share her story and connect with the community.
