A BODY has been found in Woodley’s Woodford Park.

Thames Valley Police said the death was unexplained, but non-suspicious.

No further details have been released at this moment, but officers want to reassure the public and will increase patrols in the town during the day.

In a statement on social media, they said: “We are currently dealing with an unexplained but non-suspicious death in Woodford Park, Reading.

“Please avoid the area but be assured there is no wider threat to the public.

“There will be an increased police presence in the area throughout the day.
