Binfield Cricket Club came out on top in Midweek League Cricket opener with victory over Crowthorne & Crown Wood Cricket Club by 40 runs.
A century opening stand between Dan Humphrey and Sam Kennet set the foundation, while Omer Farooq and Siv Sivapalan were the pick of the Crows bowlers.
Jon Gould with three wickets and Grant Celliers with a further three did the damage with the ball for Binfield after Amit Puri and Jules O’Loughlin had got Crows response off to a flying start.
Crows skipper Jules O’Loughlin said: “It was great evening of Cricket and nice to play in decent weather. Well played Binfield, their openers really took the game away from us”.
