A COMMUNITY choir is inviting those with a love of singing to join its ranks to help deliver some classical, folk and contemporary classics.
Bel Canto Ladies’ Choir currently has 27 voices and is based in Sonning and Woodley; it is styled as a “friendly and social” choir with no auditions required and ability to read sheet music is not essential.
Open to singers of all ages, rehearsals are split between Pearson Hall, Sonning, and Christ Church, Woodley, and take place on Monday evenings during term time.
Musical director Diane Prince leads sessions and arranges works for the choir to add to their repertoire.
Prospective members are welcome to drop by for a taster session.
