THAMES Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to an incident of possession of a knife in Reading.
It follows an incident which took place at around 2.50pm on Wednesday, August 30, during which a woman was seen in possession of a knife on the corner of Crown Street and Southampton Street.
Police say a 33-year-old woman from Reading has been arrested on suspicion of possessing a bladed article in a public place and remains in police custody.
Investigating officer PC Jade Foord, based at Reading police station, said: “I would like to appeal to anyone who saw this incident, or who has any information which could help our investigation, to get in touch.
