DENEFIELD School has announced that more than 84% have been accepted for their first choice of universities as they collect their A-Level results.

Of the grades awarded this year, 23% were A grades or higher, more than 40% were B grades or higher, and more than 71% were C or higher.

Notable achievements included Rachel Corker Harriet Jackman, both with an A* and two A grades each, and Glenn May, who received an A* grade, two A grades, and B.

Mr Towill, Headteacher at Denefield, said: “With such strong results, Denefield students will now progress to a variety of destinations.

“Over 84% of students have confirmed university places at their first choice university, including several at Russell Group universities. They will take places on courses from Law to Drama to Midwifery.
