READING FC UNDER 23’s were crowned as Berks & Bucks Senior Cup champions with victory over Ascot United.

The young Royals side took the lead in the 15th minute when Ajani Giscombe found the net from outside the box.

They doubled their lead just before the half-hour mark when a well-worked move was finished off by Nahum Melvin-Lambert who nodded home from 10 yards out.

Reading established a three-goal lead before the break when ??? Samuels put Noel Hunt’s team in control of the contest with an excellent finish that smacked the post before finding the back of the net.

The Royals added a fourth of the afternoon at Arbor Park deep into stoppage time when Lambert found is second of the game
