READING town centre is set to welcome 15 prehistoric friends this summer.
The Reading Dino Trail runs from August 5-20 and will see dinosaur models built from hundreds of thousands of toy bricks featured at locations such as The Oracle and Broad Street Mall.
Among the creatures visiting the Ding will be a nearly 3m-long Tethyshadros made of 89,000 bricks, Velociraptors measuring 3.6m long and 2.2m high, and a Pteradon with a wing span of almost 3m.
They will be joined by Diplocaulus, Archaeoceratops and Megalosaur heads dinosaur enthusiasts young and old can pose for selfies with.
The project is organised by Reading BID (Business Improvement District) and the models created by BRICKLIVE – it is designed to be a fun and free day out for the whole family.
The event is not associated with the LEGO Group.
