Reading Football Club have confirmed that Jacob Borgnis’ loan at Slough Town has been extended by a month, meanwhile forward Basil Tuma has also joined Slough.

21-year-old midfielder Borgnis has made five appearances for the National League South side since joining last month, starting every match. Borgnis has impressed both manager Scott Davies and the Slough supporters, and will now remain at Arbour Park until at least the end of January.

Malta international Tuma will also join Borgnis on loan at Slough Town. The 20-year-old has featured 13 times for Reading’s first team since making his debut in 2022, but has only played 39 minutes this season across three substitute appearances.

Slough Town currently sit in 22nd position in the National League South table on 19 points from 20 games.
