A WOODLEY man has been convicted of multiple child sex offences following an investigation by Thames Valley Police.
Richard Still, 38 and of Louden Square, Woodley, was convicted of three counts of engaging in penetrative sexual activity with a girl under 16 and one count of causing or inciting child prostitution or pornography.
He pleaded guilty at a hearing at Reading Crown Court on Monday, November 13, and is now due to be sentenced at the same court on Tuesday, December 19.
Investigating officer, Detective Constable Rivkah Winetroube, of the Child Abuse Investigation Unit, said: “The child in this case has been very brave in coming forwards and I would encourage anyone who has been a victim of childhood sexual abuse to report it to the police.
“We always take allegations of this nature seriously, regardless of how much time has passed and a full investigation will take place. Wherever there is sufficient evidence we will seek to bring offenders to justice.”
