A WEST Reading drug dealer caught with nearly £45,000 worth of Class A drugs has been jailed for more than three years.

Elrazy Ahamed pleaded guilty to a count each of possession with intent to supply crack cocaine, heroin and a further count of acquiring criminal property at Reading Crown Court on February 28.

The day before, Thames Valley Police arrested Ahamed after he was seen approaching a white Vauxhall Mokka.

Officers found he had 282 wraps of crack cocaine and 16 wraps of heroin in his tracksuit pocket, with a street value of around £6,000. He was also in possession of two Apple iPhones.

A search of his home uncovered a fabric bag, which contained a further number of packages containing uncut crack cocaine, and a mint pot containing more wraps of crack cocaine and heroin.

Further street deals of cocaine were also discovered, along with two sets of digital scales.
