A NEW year concert is to be held in Reading later this month.

Members of the West Forest Sinfonia will perform three pieces when they gather in the University of Reading’s Great Hall on Sunday, January 28.

The programme features Britten’s Four Sea Interludes, Dyson’s Violin Concerto, and Walton’s Symphony No. 1.

The violin soloist will be Rupert Marshall-Luck, the orchestra will be conducted by Philip Ellis, and led by Giles Wade.

It starts at 4.30pm, and tickets cost £18, or £5 for students or under 18s. They can be bought in advance or on the door.
