Reading FC started their pre-season campaign with a victory over Championship side Watford.
Playing in a behind closed doors friendly at Watford’s training ground, goals from Adrian Akande and Jayden Wareham helped the Royals to get off to a winning start.
Next up for the Royals they are against Championship side Millwall before they are against Woking away from home.
The Royals then have a home friendly against Queens Park Rangers on Saturday, July 27 and then are away to Cardiff City on July 31.
Reading’s pre-season finishes with a home game against Hull City on Saturday, August 3 before their League One campaign starts with a visit to Birmingham City on August 10.
