A WASHING machine caught fire in a Reading flat, and fire crews were sent to the scene.
The incident took place at 10.30pm on Wednesday, March 27, at a home in Castle Hill.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service Crews from Caversham Road and Wokingham Road Fire Stations were sent to put the blaze out, but it had already been extinguished when they arrived.
They were on scene for 31 minutes.
