THOSE looking to grab some fresh air will have the chance to meet up with others for a guided walk on Saturday, September 30.
Walk Works is inviting residents to conquer the 6 km-long Caversham river loop, taking in the sights and sounds of Christchurch Meadows, Heron Island, Reading Hydro and Caversham Lock.
Participants will then meet the Kennet and Avon Canal at Blake’s Lock before coming back around to Caversham via Chestnut Walk and Forbury Gardens.
Open to all, the event starts and finishes at The Fox and Hounds pub, Gosbrook Road.
The walk costs £10 per person to join and starts at 2pm.
