They need ‘Bumps & Babies’ volunteers.
Volunteers that will help with setting up the room, laying out the toys, packing up the room and putting things back where they belong at the end of sessions.
They welcome volunteers from a wide range of backgrounds and you do not need to be a parent yourself to volunteer for this role. You will be supported by their central Volunteering Team.
Ridgeline Trust helps people to learn new skills, regain lost skills and improve mental and physical health in their beautiful garden in East Reading.
They are currently seeking volunteers to join them as Horticultural Therapy support volunteers.
Tasks include: Help encourage clients to carry out gardening activities, Support individual clients or small groups to carry out gardening activities under the guidance of the Horticultural Therapists, develop and maintain a relationship of trust and mutual respect with the clients you support and more.
Over the coming years Guide Dogs for the Blind Association are aiming to increase the number of guide dog partnerships, but they’re also developing a broader range of services that will help more people who are blind and partially sighted to get out and about on their own terms.
They currently want Fundraisers, in this role volunteers will assist their local fundraising team in promoting and taking part in a variety of activities to raise money and awareness for Guide Dogs.
Activities include: Helping on stalls at local events, Taking Collection Boxes to local businesses, Manning collections at various venues, Counting donations and more.
