A VAN has become stuck in a car park in central Reading, causing heavy disruption.
Today, Monday, April 15, a large white van became stuck while entering the Oracle Riverside car park.
The first floor ramp was subsequently blocked, causing queues into the car park while the vehicle was dealt with.
Staff at The Oracle guided those stuck behind the van back down the ramp.
An eyewitness who did not wish to be named said that the driver had “caused mayhem,” and that the response to the situation was slow.
They added: “There are definitely lessons to be learned from this, including having a restriction barrier for those entering the car park.”
