A GLOBAL vehicle manufacturer has signed a pre-let agreement for a unit at Reading International Logistics Park, it has been announced.
Graftongate and JP Morgan Asset Management have explained that an as-yet-unnamed occupier has penned an agreement which could see a major development at the site.
The 15-year lease is the first step in plans which could see development of around 160,000 sq ft for a logistics scheme, close to Junction 11 of the M4.
Construction could begin as early as this month, with contractors Magrock signed to the project, and work planned to conclude in the first quarter of next year.
Plans would see four warehouse units fitted with solar panels and electric vehicle charging installations
The business park itself was acquired by JP Morgan and Graftongate in May.
