TWO TEENAGERS have been charged in relation to the assault on Kings Road earlier this week.
A 17-year-old boy from Reading has been charged with one count each of Section 18 wounding with intent and possession of a bladed article on school/further education premises.
A 16-year-old boy, also from Reading, has been charged with assault by beating.
Neither can be named for legal reasons.
The charges relate to an incident that occurred at around 2.20pm on Thursday, November 6, on Kings Road, Reading.
The victim, who is in his late teens, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and has since been discharged from hospital.
Both boys appeared at Reading Magistrates’ Court today (Saturday, November 11) and were released on conditional court bail.
