THAMES Valley Police has announced that the person who was hospitalised in an incident in Reading last week has died.
A 36-year-old construction worker received serious injuries and another person sustained minor injuries in Amethyst Lane shortly after 9am on Wednesday, February 19.
Police have now announced that he died on Sunday, February 23, with an investigation into the incident still ongoing.
A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: “The 36-year-old man who was hospitalised following this incident sadly died on Sunday 23 February.
“His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by officers.
“The circumstances of his death is continued to be investigated by the police and HSE and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
