A Turkish kebab and grill in a busy area of Reading has applied to keep on selling food until 1am.
Ephesus Grill in Whitley Street is known for serving up kebabs, burgers, steaks, stews and more to customers.
The takeaway is currently open from 12pm to midnight on weekdays, and until 12.30am on Fridays and Saturdays.
Now the owners have applied to keep on serving food and non-alcoholic drinks until 1am each night.
This has been submitted in a licensing application to Reading Borough Council, which specifies sales will be conducted indoors.
Any food business that wants to sell food and drink between 11pm and 5am requires a late night refreshment licence to operate during these hours.
A statutory consultation into the application is currently live.
You can take part by emailing licensing@reading.gov.uk. The deadline for responses will be reached on Tuesday, June 10.
Deliveries are currently processed by the business itself and Deliveroo.
The business takes its name from the ancient city of Ephesus, which is now called Selçuk in Turkiye.
The city was home to the Temple of Artemis, one of the Ancient Wonders of the World, and is mentioned in the Bible.
